The beautiful houses in the alleys are decorated with climbing roses. In the month of June, in full bloom, the colors are magnificent. From the S\u00e9guret square, one can notice the peaks of the lace of Montmirail located opposite. A little path in the village leads to the ruins of the castle.<\/p>\n<p>ADDITIONAL INFORMATION\u00c9GURET<br \/>\nPlaced above the side of the hill, dominated by the tower of the medieval castle, the Cevennes horizon at sunset, the village of S\u00e9guret is, well planted, dominates the vine-covered plain.<br \/>\nInhabited since prehistoric times, the S\u00e9guret site is part of Voconce land widely marked in Gallo-Roman times. Then the village was built during the Middle Ages Summit (tenth twelfth century), has a history closely linked to that of Venaissin County, Ecclesiastical State until the Revolution.<br \/>\nIt is now under the rule of the Pope, sometimes as Count of Toulouse, who owned the vineyards in the twelfth century.
